The operation that led the Xiashun Group to become the new majority shareholder of Carcano Antonio SpA was completed on February 25. This entry marks the start of a new phase in the journey of the historic company, rooted in the provinces of Lecco and Sondrio, with its sites in Mandello del Lario (LC), Delebio, and Andalo Valtellino (SO). The Xiashun Group, headquartered in Hong Kong, represents a family-owned private entrepreneurial entity. With over thirty years of experience in aluminum processing, it relies on an advanced production system and supplies customers worldwide, including major multinational groups. A company specializing in the production of high-quality aluminum foil—with an annual capacity of approximately 120,000 tons of foil and 220,000 tons of plate products— the production site covering a total area of 600,000 square meters employing 1,500 people.
The investment in Carcano is part of the strategic vision developed by the Xiashun Group in recent years, which looks to international growth with the aim of strengthening its presence outside China and serving global customers more directly, particularly in the European market.
